Greetings from a cold and snowy Sunday River! We are in full winter mode all across the resort and have plenty of winter left to enjoy!

We are excited to bring you the 2024-2025 Winter Owners Newsletter with updates about the resort, hotel and all the fun happenings!

Welcome to Winter!

For the first few weeks of the winter season, Lisa & Joelle greeted owners in the lobby with champagne to celebrate the kick off another exciting winter season. Thank you to all that stopped by!

Front Office Manager – Robert Sanders

Robert joined our team this fall as the Front Office Manager. He continues to develop the front desk team and elevate our service and hospitality. 

Please stop by the front desk and introduce yourself!

Three fun facts about Robert –

  1. Originally from Kennebunkport, ME.
  2. Favorite outdoor activities include downhill skiing and biking.
  3. He is an eagle scout!

Bell Captain – Brandon Rose

Brandon joined our team at the start of the season as our Bell Captain! Brandon is excited to bring this service back to the Grand Summit Hotel and has many ideas for the future!

Brandon cannot wait to welcome you back to the hotel!

Three fun facts about Brandon –

  1. Is a cross country hiker.
  2. Has worked at 10 ski resorts (including another Boyne Resort).
  3. Speaks German.  

Eddy & Betty Dinner

February 15th | 6PM-8PM | South Ridge

Enjoy dinner and an evening of fun with activities like coloring stations, a book reading, and a special appearance by Eddy & Betty the Yetis.

But wait, there’s more! We’ll have Magician Phil Smith joining on February 15.

Raclette Dinner – February 22

Join us at The Clubhouse for a special Raclette Dinner on select dates, prepared by Executive Chef Chad Davidowicz.

Enjoy a European-inspired meal in the cozy, winter atmosphere of The Clubhouse – the perfect setting to gather with friends and family for a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind winter meal with family-style seating at either 6PM or 8PM.

EMAILED DUES STATEMENTS

Beginning in January of 2025, Owner Services is now sending your HOA Statements via email, or your preferred communication method. To ensure you continue receiving your statements without interruption, we kindly ask that you verify or update the primary email address we have on file and/or preferred communication method by completing the Owner Contact Information Update Form

ONLINE HOA PAYMENTS

As a reminder, you may now pay your Maintenance Fees (dues) and Property Tax bills online via credit card or ACH – https://securepayment.link/summitowners/.

CALENDAR UPDATES & OWNER RESERVATIONS

Hotel guests are booking earlier than ever! We want to be sure that owners have an opportunity to reserve any time they would like to use. Yearly calendars will go out in early spring and owners can reserve dates through 2028!

Reservation requests for dates during the winter ’24-’25 season will need to be submitted via email or booked online via the Owner Portal. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but many winter weeks are now fully booked!

VALET SERVICES

In early December, we added valet and bell service to the Grand Summit! 

Valet and Bell Services are available daily at the hotel, 7AM-11PM, and are complimentary for our hotel owners!

 Brandon Rose has joined us as Bell Captain, bringing enthusiasm and expertise to enhance our arrival experience. We can’t wait for you to meet him!

Our Valet/Bell Team looks forward to welcoming you for your next stay!

OVERNIGHT TUNE

We are also now offer overnight ski and snowboard equipment tuning with convenient delivery service ($80). Drop off your equipment at ski check before 3:30 PM for delivery the next morning before the lifts open. We have already had many take advantage of this great service!

ENVIRONMENTAL LEADER CERTIFICATION

The Grand Summit Hotel as a now certified as a Maine Environmental Leader with the State of Maine Department of Environmental Protection! 

The Grand Summit earned 183 points during the audit (83 more than needed for certification)!

HOTEL FOOD & BEVERAGE

Camp has extended hours for the season and will be open until 10PM on weekends and holidays to offer extended service to guests and owners.  They have some great new menu items for the winter including our favorite, fried clams! 

The Last Run Room is also open for the season! Stop by Thursdays through Sundays and make your last run the tastiest one.

Stay & Spa

Receive $25 off a spa service with your lodging reservation. Spa discounts are valid only during the dates of stay. Contact Owner Services for more information!
