Moutain Report for this Weekend

Morning Update 2/3/2023

It’s going to be a frigid Friday here today at Sunday River. Temps started at 0 degrees and are forecasted to drop as the day continues. In addition, winds are impacting our ability to operate lifts safely, and are expected to continue to do so throughout the day.

As of this writing, we are expecting to have the Barker Mountain Express, South Ridge Express, White Cap Quad, Little White Cap Quad, Jordan 8, and the three Sundance Surface Lifts open for 9 AM. Due to terrain limitations, the Jordan 8 will be operating as a semi-independent lift today, with no ski-in access to the Jordan Bowl. Kansas will be open to return to the center of the resort.

As a reminder, all Uphill Access will be closed today and tomorrow. In addition, Night Skiing is canceled this weekend, and Apres Aglow will not open.

Teams are on the hill accessing all viable options to open as much terrain as possible, but we will continue to do so in a safe manner. Keep your eye here for all the most up-to-date information.

Stay warm, and ski smart.

– Team Snow
