There’s nothing quite like spring skiing at Sunday River: warm sun, soft snow, and daily lift access through April 24. You can’t beat it. As you make your plans for spring in the mountains, here are the details you’ll want to keep in mind. Please note that lift and terrain availability is subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.
Resort Operations Schedule
March 20 – 21
- Lift access on White Cap, Locke Mountain, Barker Mountain, Spruce Peak, North Peak, South Ridge, Aurora Peak, Oz, and Jordan Bowl.
- Ski-in/ski-out access available from Grand Summit and Jordan Hotels.
March 22 – 26
- Lift access on White Cap, Barker Mountain, North Peak, South Ridge, Spruce Peak, Aurora Peak, and Jordan Bowl.
- 2021-22 season passholders who purchased in full can begin using their spring skiing benefit.
- Ski-in/ski-out access available from Grand Summit and Jordan Hotels.
- Camp open for breakfast seven days a week.
- Camp open for lunch Friday through Sunday.
- Camp open for dinner Thursday through Monday.
- Last Run Room open Friday and Saturday.
March 27 – 28
- Lift access on White Cap, Locke Mountain, Barker Mountain, Spruce Peak, North Peak, South Ridge, Aurora Peak, and Jordan Bowl.
- Ski-in/ski-out access available from Grand Summit and Jordan Hotels.
March 29 – April 2
- Lift access on White Cap, Barker Mountain, North Peak, South Ridge, Spruce Peak, and Jordan Bowl.
- Ski-in/ski-out access available from Grand Summit and Jordan Hotels.
- Adult and kids group lessons are now closed for the season.
- Camp open for dinner Friday through Monday.
April 3-4
- Lift access on White Cap, Barker Mountain, North Peak, South Ridge, Spruce Peak, Aurora Peak, and Jordan Bowl.
- Ski-in/ski-out access available from Grand Summit and Jordan Hotels.
- Camp closes for lunch and dinner for the season.
- Last Run Room closes for the season.
April 5-9
- Lift access on Barker Mountain, Spruce Peak.
- Intermediate and advanced terrain only.
- Private lessons are now closed for the season.
- Limited resort dining available now through the end of the season.
April 10-11
- Lift access on Barker Mountain, North Peak, Spruce Peak, and Jordan Bowl (tentative).
- Sunday River Sports retail shop at the hotel closes for the season.
April 12-16
- Lift access on Barker Mountain. Intermediate and advanced terrain only.
- The rental shop is now closed for the season.
April 17-18
- Lift access on Barker Mountain and Spruce Peak.
- Intermediate and advanced terrain only.
April 19-24
- Lift access on Barker Mountain.
- Intermediate and advanced terrain only.
- Closing day is on April 24.
- Camp closes for the season.
